Tennessee Road Builders Association

The motto of the Tennessee Road Builders Association has always been "Good Roads Save Lives, Time and Money!" TRBA is more committed to that motto than ever before. With the partnership between TRBA, ARTBA, NSSGA, NAPA , TDOT and elected and government officials, Tennessee ’s highway system is one of the safest, most efficient, and most cost-effective in the nation.

Tennessee Tech University

Tennessee Tech University is the state's only "technological" university. Tennessee Tech University has been named one of America's 100 Best College Buys, earning designation three years in a row as one of the nation's best college educations for the cost. This honor comes on the heels of TTU's 2008 ranking as one of the Top Public Schools in the South by USNews & World Report (for the sixth time) and as a Best Southeastern College by The Princeton Review (for the fourth time). These accolades are a reflection of the commitment our university has toward the lifelong success of our students. Tennessee Tech's focus on innovative programs includes the BusinessMedia Center. Ollie Otter's important safety message is driven by business technology through TTU's BusinessMedia Center. For the Ollie Otter project, the Center's expertise helped design, develop and implement innovative marketing and management solutions for a complex statewide program.

Governor's Highway Safety Office

The statewide Ollie Otter Booster Seat and Seatbelt Safety program received a major boost in October when Governor Phil Bredesen announced the program would receive a grant of $50,000 from the Governor's Highway Safety Office (GHSO). Kendell Poole, GHSO Director, said the program is a "Great example of an innovative public-private partnership to save lives". The program strives to conduct presentations in elementary schools in all 95 counties in Tennessee this school year. Local organizations champion the cause through supportive alliances while key expert groups, such as the Tennessee Highway Patrol, strengthen the programs message by lending their subject-matter expertise.
